We’re three months old today! Between our 3 month anniversary, the change in weather and the fast-approaching official start of spring, it seems we have a lot to celebrate. As we begin to swap out cozy footed bodysuits for more weather appropriate attire, we’ve rounded up seven must-do activities this spring with your little ones!

Whitney Museum: Whitney Wees and Stroller Tours
If you’re looking for a kid-specific activity, Whitney Wees encourages looking, sharing, and working together through the use of color. There are three available dates: March 12 and 19, and April 2 from 10-11 am. Reserve your tickets ahead of time to ensure admittance.
Want to go for a tour, but worried about creating a scene with a random outburst from your baby? The Whitney also offers Stroller Tours, where the museum is closed to the public, and screaming babies are welcomed with open arms.

Orchid Show at NY Botanical Garden
If your child is content in his baby carrier, head over to the annual exhibition of orchids inside the Haupt Conservatory. Start with Art at The Met
Spend a Saturday morning in this family program for children with an artistic touch. During this one-hour program, children will participate in gallery activities, read stories, and sketch some of their own masterpieces.

NY Public Library Events
Like every north-eastern spring, April showers are certainly in the forecast. When the weather does not cooperate, stay indoors by joining one of the several storytime groups offered at various NY Public Library locations.

High Line
Take a stroll along the High Line and stop by the People’s Pops’ cart so you and your little ones can enjoy fresh, organic popsicles and shaved ice. The High Line also offers a variety of events for kids of all ages.

Spend an afternoon partaking in the ultimate digital playground for all ages. Enjoy the show, Living Digital Space and Future Parks, filled with interactive digital works. Your children can then participate in Sketchtown where they can leave their artistic mark on an ever-changing digital tapestry.

Story Time at The Strand Bookstore
Your little ones will delight in meeting their favorite storybook characters at The Strand Bookstore. Listen to a story and participate in a craft on weekends in March.
