We're 3 Months Old Today!

12|12 is 3 months old today!

We’re three months old today! Between our 3 month anniversary, the change in weather and the fast-approaching official start of spring, it seems we have a lot to celebrate. As we begin to swap out cozy footed bodysuits for more weather appropriate attire, we’ve rounded up seven must-do activities this spring with your little ones!

The Whitney Museum: Family Programs

  1. Whitney Museum: Whitney Wees and Stroller Tours
If you’re looking for a kid-specific activity, Whitney Wees encourages looking, sharing, and working together through the use of color. There are three available dates: March 12 and 19, and April 2 from 10-11 am. Reserve your tickets ahead of time to ensure admittance.

Want to go for a tour, but worried about creating a scene with a random outburst from your baby? The Whitney also offers Stroller Tours, where the museum is closed to the public, and screaming babies are welcomed with open arms.

The Orchid Show at NY Botanical Gardens
  2. Orchid Show at NY Botanical Garden
If your child is content in his baby carrier, head over to the annual exhibition of orchids inside the Haupt Conservatory. Check out their website before heading over for the schedule of complementary music & dance events to further entertain both you and your tot in tow. February 27 - April 17, 2016

Start with Art at The Met
  3. Start with Art at The Met

  4. NY Public Library Events
Like every north-eastern spring, April showers are certainly in the forecast. When the weather does not cooperate, stay indoors by joining one of the several storytime groups offered at various NY Public Library locations.

    The High Line NYC
  5. High Line
Take a stroll along the High Line and stop by the People’s Pops’ cart so you and your little ones can enjoy fresh, organic popsicles and shaved ice. The High Line also offers a variety of events for kids of all ages.

    teamLab at Pace Gallery
  6. teamLab at Pace Gallery
Spend an afternoon partaking in the ultimate digital playground for all ages. Enjoy the show, Living Digital Space and Future Parks, filled with interactive digital works. Your children can then participate in Sketchtown where they can leave their artistic mark on an ever-changing digital tapestry.

Story Time at The Strand Bookstore
  7. Story Time at The Strand Bookstore
Your little ones will delight in meeting their favorite storybook characters at The Strand Bookstore. Listen to a story and participate in a craft on weekends in March.
